Weapon Cleaner

The Weapon Cleaner repairs one item that DayZ considers compatible with a Weapon Cleaning Kit.

Capacity and compatibility

Use exactly one of these locations:

  • one rifle attachment;
  • one pistol attachment; or
  • one compatible cargo item, such as a magazine.

An item that is not configured for vanilla weapon-kit repair will not work, even if it looks like a weapon part.

Requirements

  • Deployed Weapon Cleaner
  • Cleaning Solvent with at least 20 quantity
  • Cleaning Patches with at least 20 quantity
  • One non-ruined compatible item

Operation

  1. Open the Weapon Cleaner.
  2. Attach Cleaning Solvent and Cleaning Patches.
  3. Add one compatible item.
  4. Start the 26-second cleaning action.

A completed cycle consumes 20 solvent and 20 patch quantity and sets the item to WeaponCleanerRepairedHealth. EnableWeaponCleanerSound controls only the operating sound.
